Aeration week is our opportunity to act on elements of the golf course that we wish to improve. What we actually do during aeration is a product our observations and assessments through the summer.
We discussed in earlier communication, that we will be resurfacing the 19th green with aeration cores. Last week, we tested our strategy on the back of 10 green. This is useful to gauge how the greens will recover and how they should be managed post aeration. Hole size, stability and moisture loss are three elements we monitor closely. Next week’s practices are exciting since they are an investment in playing conditions and long term objectives.
